MPS - Fabricators

Portraits taken for Material Process Systems (MPS), the fabrication shop responsible for the actualizing the RE/BUILD exhibit. The partners of MPS, Matthew Josephs and Steven Urbatsch invited 6 designers to come into their shop and propose a design for their team to build. The prototype, would then be showcased in the exhibit. The photographs were taken in the MPS shop, with 2 strobes. The final prints, donated by Peter Berberian and Ryan Speth of Gotham Imaging, were displayed at the exhibit in the entrance way into the Gallery 1889 space. Documentation of the Lynch / Eisinger / Design studio, portrait of Christian Lynch and Simon Eisinger for the RE/BUILD exhibit. The photographs were taken for LED promotional usage and contributed to the Gallery 1889 flickr gallery, on-going documentation of the designers process for the exhbit. Elizabeth Cordes - The Gallery 1889, RE/BUILD exhibition


Interview with Elizabeth Cordes for RE/BUILD. Elizabeth is a design student at Kansas State University, in Manhattan Kansas. The still above was pulled from the interview, recorded over skype with the Ecamm Call Recorder. Both camera views were captured in full res (640x480), the playback quality of the recorded relied on the skype connection. Along with the skype recording, documented the interview with, recording the interviewer(s) and Elizabeth on screen, with an HDV camera. The interviews for RE/BUILD are part of a promotional campaign created by Agency Charlie, documenting the ongoing process of the contributors in the exhibition, May 15, 2009 at the Gallery 1889. Daniel Harper - The Gallery 1889, RE/BUILD exhibition.



Ongoing documentation of the designers process, for the RE/BUILD exhibition. Daniel Harper is a designer, inventor, creator of multi-functional interactive products/structures. Daniel was asked to create an installation for the RE/BUILD exhibition, to be displayed in The Gallery 1889 space May 15th, 2009. The photos above were taken in the MPS shop, documenting the kick off meeting and assessment of materials.

Amit Kumar - The Pompás Bajusz (**Grand Mustache**)




A portrait of Amit Kumar, for the Extremely Hungary Mustache Contest. Set up a light gray seamless and began documenting the mustache. The photo above was submitted for the category of The Pompás Bajusz. It was only a few days later, that Amit would be awarded the overall most wonderful mustache.
